Fleeta Limited
Privacy Policy
This policy explains what our Wix applications collect, why, and what you can do about it. It covers every app we publish on the Wix App Market. Where an app collects something specific to it, that is called out below.
Who we are
Fleeta Limited is the data controller for the information described here. We are registered in England and Wales. You can reach us at accounts@jhaulage.co.uk for any privacy question, and our postal address is available on request.
Two kinds of people
Our apps sit between two groups, and we treat them differently.
- Site owners — the Wix users who install an app on their site. We hold a small amount of account data about them.
- Site visitors — the shoppers on those sites. We avoid holding personal data about them wherever the feature can work without it, and several of our apps hold none at all.
What we collect
| Data | Why | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|
| Wix app instance ID and site ID | To tell one installation from another, store your settings, and apply the correct billing plan. This is the identifier Wix requires apps to use. | Contract |
| Site name, URL, locale, currency | To display your own store details back to you and format prices correctly. | Contract |
| Site owner email address | Only where an app needs to contact you about the service. We do not add it to a marketing list. | Contract |
| Catalog data — product and category IDs, names, prices, weights | So you can build rules, discounts and offers against your own products. | Contract |
| Cart and checkout contents at the moment a rule runs | To decide whether a limit, discount or fee applies. Processed in memory and not written to our database. | Contract |
| Order ID, order total and line items | Only in apps that act after a purchase, to show the right content on the thank-you page and to report results back to you. | Contract |
| Survey answers, where a survey app is installed | To report which channels bring you orders. Stored against the order, not against a named shopper. | Legitimate interests of the site owner |
| Aggregate usage counts | To show your plan usage and to enforce plan limits. | Contract |
What we never collect. We do not receive or store payment card numbers, bank details or authentication credentials — those stay with Wix and its payment providers and never reach us. We do not build a contact database from your store data, and we never sell, rent or share your data or your customers' data with anyone for their own marketing.
Cookies and similar technology
Our dashboard pages use only the session storage needed to keep you signed in while you use the app. Where an app places anything on your storefront, it declares a consent category to Wix and will not run if a visitor declines that category. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking technology.
Who else processes the data
We keep the list of sub-processors short and we do not add to it lightly.
- Wix.com Ltd — the platform itself. It hosts our applications and handles all billing. Wix processes your data under its own terms.
- OVH — hosting in the European Union, for any app component we run on our own infrastructure.
- OpenAI — only in apps whose AI features you actively use, and only for the text you submit to that feature. It is not used to train models.
Where data leaves the UK or European Economic Area, it is transferred under Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent approved safeguard.
How long we keep it
- While the app is installed — your settings and any records the app has created for you.
- After you uninstall — we delete your configuration and stored records within 30 days. Uninstalling and reinstalling on the same site will not bring old data back after that window.
- Cart and checkout payloads — held in memory for the length of the request only.
- Billing records — retained for as long as tax law requires.
Your rights
If you are in the UK or the European Economic Area you have the right to access, correct, erase, export or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to object to it. Write to accounts@jhaulage.co.uk and we will act on requests to edit or delete within one week and at the latest within 30 days; access requests are answered within 30 days.
If you are a shopper rather than a site owner, contact the store you bought from first — they are the controller for their own customer data, and we will support them in responding to you.
You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Security
All traffic runs over HTTPS. Requests reaching our servers are verified against the signature Wix issues for your installation before we act on them. Access to production systems is restricted to named administrators using key-based authentication.
Children
Our apps are business tools sold to site owners and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top, and for anything that materially affects you we will tell you inside the app before it takes effect.
